Meet Heide Maki
Registered Nurse & Owner of Sunkissed Med Spa
Heide Maki has an extensive background in healthcare and began her training as a Registered Nurse over 20 years ago. She has worked in a variety of specialties; predominantly caring for the critically ill patient in the ICU setting. Throughout her career as a nurse there was one common theme that continued to arise and that was the health of a patients skin always seemed to correlate with the well being of the patient. And that simple understanding is what drove her to become an Esthetician.
Heide has first hand experience with skin issues, she was diagnosed with Rosacea 10 years ago and after years of taking multiple medications with out relief she decided to seek a different path with a holistic mindset. It was through her research and working with holistic skin therapists her passion grew and she decided to open Sunkissed Med Spa.
Heide Believes in taking a holistic approach to skin health, understanding the value in good nutrition, exercise and a home skin care regimen will all impact and improve our skin health. Our bodies are a temple in which for us to survive let's treat it with the utmost respect and nourish it with love.
